Over the past several years, brass ensembles have reached new heights of success through star quality entertaining and the remarkable technical skills of a number of today's professional small ensembles. The New York Brass Sextet Journal endeavors
to produce useful and challenging sacred music. This should not imply that all selections technically difficult, rather that grading limitations are not placed on it's composers.
As in the case of the American Band Journal, this publication embodies grades 5, 6, and 7 in the musical curriculum and is well suited for educational use and concert repertoire. Generally five or six items comprise each issue.
Each issue package includes parts for Bb Cornet/Trumpet 1 and 2, Eb or F Horn, Bb Trombone in Treble and bass clef, Bb Euphonium in treble and bass clef and Eb or Bb
tuba in treble and bass clef and one Full Score.
