These precision machined brass valve stems replace the stock alloy stems on your trumpet. They will end the inherent corrosion problems that occur when aluminum contacts brass.
Your first sensation when these are installed will be a more solid, positive valve action due to the slightly heavier weight of brass (only a few grams!). You will also notice a more even response in all registers along with improved tonal color, especially on attacks. Made to manufacturers' specs, these stems will preserve the original valve alignment.
These stems feature a machined relief to help keep pads or felts from slipping up the shaft and also have a cupped spring retainer to help center valve springs and insure smooth, noise-free action.
Available for these horns only: Schilke and Bach Stradivarius. Bb and C trumpets only
