Used Eastman EBC632 CC tuba (SN: 020215) in lacquer with new Cronkhite Black Cordura gig bag. This is the very same prototype/pre-production EBC-632 built and then purchased by Matt Walters. 20” upright bell and 4 front action pistons of .687” bore. Right thumb operated 5th rotor valve of a flat whole step. Takes standard American shank mouthpiece. In very good shape with only minor dings and scratches. Less than 300 hours total play time (Not even one year of college study.) on the horn.
Dillon Music/Matt Walters built the prototype for the Eastman EBC-632 CC tuba based upon a brand new EBB-534 BBb tuba. It turns out Eastman re-used the same hand-tapered branches and custom made leadpipe of the Prototype Matt Walters built so that they could ship back a "Sample" horn in time to show at some conferences. The mouthpiece receiver still has the original EBB-534 stamped on it from the donor horn. Also the serial number hand engraved by Matt Walters is the sale date of this first ever Eastman EBC-632 . A great playing tuba that is part of CC tuba history.
