Designed in the tradition of the full-bodied orchestral brass trombones of the mid-to-late-20th century, this series boasts exceptional response and impeccable clarity. Featuring a one-piece bell, this line of models will support any player in achieving that classic bass trombone sound with unmatched projection and tone.

The GB5-3Y features an independent valve set-up with a lightweight 9.5" yellow brass bell. The bell has a soldered rim that provides excellent projection and stability throughout the range of the instrument and produces a quick, clear articulation. Standard valve tuning is F/Gb/D.
