Used Hans Hoyer 801 F/Bb Double French Horn (SN: 243174M)

Used Hans Hoyer 801 F/Bb double French horn in lacquer finish. Features include a modified Geyer wrap, yellow brass construction, 11.8mm bore, and detachable medium single seam bell flare.

Instrument is in good condition apart from surface scratching and some minor dent repair. Compression is OK at 2-3 on the Magnehelic compression tester depending on the valve combination and the valve are 

The bell ring has had some previous repair and as such threads tightly - with careful threading it is usable as a detachable bell horn, though some might choose to use it as a fixed bell horn. The price on this horn is a bit lower to reflect this. We can offer the horn with a fixed bell case instead of the included briefcase-style case - please ask. 

This horn plays well and would make a great first double horn.
