Used Yamaha YHR-664 F/Bb Double French Horn (SN: 004089)

Used Yamaha YHR-664 Bb/F double French horn in lacquer finish. Features include a Kruspe wrap, yellow brass construction, and fixed medium throat yellow brass bell.

Instrument is in fair condition with surface scratching and lacquer wear throughout, heavy dent repair throughout (particularly on the bell tail), some dings, and signs of prior resoldering. Includes case.

Despite repair and cosmetic challenges, the valve compression is fantastic at under 1.0 and this horn plays quite well. This would make a great first double horn.
