Used Yamaha YHR-864 F/Bb double French Horn in lacquer finish. Features include a modified Alex/Lawson yellow brass construction, .472" bore, and a medium small detachable yellow brass bell. Instrument is in very good condition apart from surface scratching and some spots of contact wear. This was Alex's first answer to the 103 in a custom format. This particular horn features a gusseted bell, which is a highly desirable construction, similar to vintage Alexander bells. Includes original case.
Compression is terrific at all valve combinations under 1.0 and most close to 0 - remarkable for a horn from the 1980s.
