Used Conn 8D "Elkhart" F/Bb double French horn, manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana ca. 1970. Features include a .468" bore, unlacquered nickel silver construction, Lawson 114.25 nickel silver leadpipe, detachable bell, and extra large throat bell. Instrument is in good condition apart from surface scratching, dings (primarily on the bell throat and flare), and evidence of prior dent work on the bell throat and flare. The owner of this horn has described it as "having perfect intonation and a beautiful sound".
