Almost a year after I bought my JP 374, it gives me everything I want out of it. I play in a band alongside a Besson Sovereign and and I have nothing to envy on the Besson, I have a much larger lower register and more power. The pitch is great and the intonation is beautiful. Give it a try!! Like me, you'll be convinced.

After spending a morning trying different euphoniums (Yamaha 642ST Neo, Wilson 2900S and 2960ST, Perantucci Sterling, John Packer JP374 Sterling and JP374S Sterling), I made my choice, but only after I really opened the last two contenders (JP374 and Wilson 2960). Only then was I really sure because the JP gave me an even bigger sound without the risk of starting to blast which was the case with the Wilson. If you ever have to buy an euphonium, you have to seriously consider the John Packer, you will not regret it. It's by far the best buy for the buck!!! I'm really happy about my JP374 Sterling gold brass. It was like a friend told me : "The wand chooses the wizard". The euphonium chose me.
