'e-BrassIV Trumpet' was created by carrying out a thorough investigation of the ideal
acoustical design of something we call the total “Instrument,” comprising the trumpet, a
mouthpiece, and finally the mute. This fundamentally new design approach allows the
e-Brass’ to be a complete portable soundproof studio and also allows for the trumpet to
resonate naturally. e-BrassIV quite simply becomes a part of the instrument while
competing practice/silent mutes just kill the sound.
