Used Holton H177 F/Bb double French horn in lacquer finish. Features include a Farkas wrap (modified Kruspe wrap), .468" bore, nickel silver construciton, and medium fixed bell flare. Instrument is in good condition apart from surface scratching and some minor lacquer wear, some dings and minor dent repair, and some spots of resoldering. The valve compression of this horn is low, hence the reduced price. However, the horn plays well and has a pleasing balanced sound.
