Used Holton H179 double French horn in lacquered nickel silver. Features include a .468" bore, Farkas-wrap, nickel silver construciton, and large throat fixed bell flare. Instrument is in good condition aside from surface scratching, some minor lacquer wear, some wear at contact wear, and a few dings/smaller dents. Compression is excellent at all valves at 1.0 or less on both the F and Bb sides. Includes original Holton case. This is the quintissential American "first" double horn.
